Sand rear frame of canopy to have the rear close a bit lower which will help the sides seal tighter. The handhelp band sander did a great job on the inside curve of the canopy. Neither the belt nor the random orbit sander would work in this area.
After sanding, the frame makes contact with the seal all the way around the cockpit. Once the canopy handle is installed and the canopy is pulled down, I think the seal will be just fine.
