Brief Description: Glass tip/wing joint on bottom of right wing
Add 2 layers of fiberglass tape to tip/wing joint on bottom of right wing. I covered the joint with 3 in FG, then added 2 strips of 2 inch FG on top of that, butted at the joint to feather the glass. This should make the filler easier to feather.
While working the top of the wing yesterday, I cracked the canoe fairing that surrounds the fuel tank sump. Now that the wing is upside down, time to fix that. After wetting it out with 60 minute epoxy, I added flox to make the fairing solid again. Once this cures, I'll use filler to finalize the shape and make smooth.
