To properly adjust the rudder cables, the turnbuckles must be shortened. I used a diamond wheel on these stainless (I think) turnbuckles. The turnbuckles have one side that threads left handed and I don't have a die to clean the grooves. Glad I thought of that and left the nut on before cutting.
