After cutting out the brackets with my and saw I went to my disk sander to sand the straight edges straight and smooth. The band saw doesn't leave a very clean edge but the disk sander (Image 1) certainly does. After I did all of the straight edges with the disk sander I was back to hand filing with a half-round file to smooth out and deburr the inside radius that would be up against the rib lightening hole. Image 2 shows me workting with the small half-round file. Image 3 shows the four bracket parts ready to be bent using my bending brake.
