After I got the plywood formed around the skeleton I closed the vice-like table on the Portable Craft Center and waited for the plywood to cool. Images 1 and 2 show the plywood on the skeleton held in place by the oak strips. While the plywood was cooling I decided to run out to Harbor Freight and purchase a pair of band clamps in the hope that they would pull the plywood more snugly against the poplar forms. Image 3 shows the band clamps installed. They do a little better job than the Craft Center vice but still not perfect. I will leave the band clamps in place for a couple of days and keep a wet towel over the plywood to see if I can pull the p;ywood a little tighter over that time.
