Brief Description:  Preparing for the Stall Warning Kit

When Van's announced that they now had a stall warning kit available I decided I wanted one and ordered it. I'm sure I'm one of the first to order and when it arrived I noticed that there were a lot of parts, however, the parts matched the Parts List. The first step is to use the access hole doubler to locate where the Stall Warning Access Cover goes by picking up two rivet holes. As can be seen in Image 1, after I located the doubler I taped it down to make sure it couldn't move. With the leading edge in my jig (Image 2) it was easy to drill the holes that will later be the rivet holes that mate the doubler to the skin and the holes that will locate the center of the four corners of the access hole.
