The Redheads RV-7A Build SIte
' style=
Date:  6-26-2009
Number of Hours:  2.50
Manual Reference:  Section 6
Brief Description:  Assembling the Elevators

Here's how I rolled the leading edges of the rudder. For starters, I used wooden dowels inplace of the steel pipe I used to do the elevators. The steel pipe got chewed up by the pliers and were a hazzard to my hands and to the aluminum skins. The wooden dowels also get chewed up by the pliers but don't damage the skins - but you can get splinters!
