Started finishing all of the Elevator Stiffeners. Originally trimmed them using the band saw then moved to my disk sander and then to my Nichols vixen file. I started out by setting the vixen file on my workbench with a piece of 1 x 4 clamped to the bench to prevent the file from moving as I worked the stiffener back and forth. Then I had the idea of using some paint stirring sticks to hold the file. This would allow me to work the stiffener without worrying about ramming it into the 1 x 4. So I used some Gorilla Glue to fasten the paint stirrers to the 1 x 4. I can clamp the 1 x 4 to my workbench and work the stiffener quite easily.
