Back on July 31st I trimmed the Aft Spar Flap Supports per the toolong marks supplied and decided I didn't like the edge distance to the first rivet hole so I decided to scrap them and ordered two new parts from Vans. Image 1 shows one of the new Aft Spar Flap Supports with the minimum edge distance I wanted to remain marked on the part. I then clecoed the Flap Support to the Aft Spar as shown in Image 2 and marked where the edge of the doubler met the Flap Support. Image 3 show the material I plan to remove, using my band saw this time, in the crosshatched area.
