Brief Description:  Preparing for Landing Lights

In Image 1 you can see that I have clecoed the Landing Light Lens Frame together as a unit to see how well the edges line up. Where they don't line up there is excess material that represents excess weight. Airplanes only fly because they are light. So I want to remove the excess material. I tried using my metal snips to cut the excess off (Image 2) but found that the 0.050 material was very difficult to cut so I ultimatly used my files. Image 3 shows me using a file to clean up the inside edge of the part of the frame that the Landing Light Lens will be fastened to.
