Image 1 shows me "ironing" the formed Plexiglas to the form. My "iron" is simply a oiece of scrap wood about 1 inch square and 18 inches long. It's been covered with two layers of the same flannel that has been stapled onto the form. This is the second time it came out of the oven. Image 2 shows me holding the finished and cooled part. Optically it is surprisingly good. There are no visible marks left by the flannel at all and the form appears to be true enough that there is very little distortion when I peer through it. Final measurements show that I need to make my "production" parts about 1/4" longer.
