Brief Description: Preparing for the Stall Warning Kit
The next step was to make the slot for the Stall Warning Sensor Vane in the leading edge of the wing. I enlarged the orginal #40 locating holes to #10 in several steps increasing the drill size by about 10 sizes per step. Then I marked the leading edge where the material for the slot was to be removed. I marked the slot narrower than the final size since I was going to rough cut by making a plunge cut with my rotary Dremel Tool with a cut-off wheel and planned to file the slot to it's final size. Image 2 shows the marked lines and Image 3 shows the results of the plunge cut.
