Drill hole and install fuel vent fitting in top of the tank. This is a MOD but not mandatory. I figured that since I was still building the tank, this was the best time to do it. If I wanted it later it would of been a lot harder to do. Blow all chips from the tank and pro-seal the top on and the fuel sender mounting plates on the front of the tank. Mount the fuel senders in place and seal. Go over all seams and any place that looks like it could leak and seal. It doesn't look pretty but if it doesn't leak--- I'm a happy camper ! Welded tanks look pretty good around now.
