Brief Description: Work on firewall forward section
Seperate and dimple rudder support channels Put sealant on top flange of F-1201C Firewall bottom. Clecoe and rivet F-1201B Firewall shelf and rudder support channels. Fill tooling holes with rivets per instructions. Rivet FF-1204FD firewall stiffener to F-1201C Firewall bottom Fig. 2 Make F-1201L from angle alluminum, put in place and back drill. Debur and prime, then rivet in place. Did not do Flo Scan mount becausde I'm using a different engine. It can be added later if needed. Attach forward lower fuselage to bottom skin assembly and aft flanges of tunnel and forward bottom skin and rivet. Section 23-02 Bend longerons L&R using dies. Took about 45 minutes for each one taking my time and got just about a perfect fit to the templet. Spending the extra money on the dies is worth every penny you spent. Take our time and move the part as needed and the job is easy.
