Final fuel tank pressure test day. Though I tested the fuel tanks when built, just did not have that 100% feeling, so I planned a retest. I installed a manometer at the tank out fitting, plugged the vent tube and put Vans valve in the tank drain boss. After hooking up a bicycle tire pump to the valve, I pumped it till the manometer registered 20" of water column (27" = 1 psi). Using a syringe, I carefully placed a drop of kids bubble soap on every rivet and along the seams and let it set. After a sufficient time, Kris helped me turn the wing over and test the other side. Both tanks are good to go. Yea!
