Continuing on from yesterday, I fit the upper and lower cowling together and secured it at the forward end with two clecos. I taped on four 1/8" spacers to the front of the upper cowling so that when I trim the cowling aft side, I know I will have the right amount of clearance between the spinner backplate and the cowling front. I spent the rest of the day cleaning/organizing the shop. Tomorrow, my EAA Tech Advisor will review my work to date.
