Brief Description: Left bottom skin and pitot tube
While the tank seal is curing on the conduit of the right wing, I started to do the initial fit up of the left wing bottom skin. I roughed in the pitot tube location the other day and got almost all the wiring completed, but did not put a hole in the skin for the pitot tube mounting bracket. I clecoed the mounting plate to the skin and traced around the opening and using a dremell tool, made a hole. Turned out very nice. From there, I hung the skin and matchdrilled all the holes. When I removed the skin for final prep, I modified the upper surface of the inboard bottom skin and the underside of the outboard skin where the two overlap. Then started to dimple all the components.
