Brief Description:  Air Dam Trim

The two front cylinders are running hotter then the others on climb out so I trimmed the two air dams back about 3/8". The engine only developed 2550 RPM so I turned the governor stop screw CCW two full turns which should increase the RPM by +50. I will validate durning testing and keep increasing until I achieve 2700 RPM. Bill Payton flew in St, Louis yesterday and reviewed my project. He made several suggestions, which he did on his after problems showed up on his plane. One such improvement was to add a bracket on the L muffler support bracket to prevent it from sliding into the oil cooler. Bill also looked at my radio and programmed the squelch to help eliminate some noise. Will validate that as well during the next test. I also separated spark plug wires from the other wires. Bill said that as the spark plug wires age, they may send out noise, so it is always a good idea to keep the wires separate.
