ADAHRS work today. First, I validated the unit orientation. Aerotronics had already updated this. Next, I leveled the plane and completed procedure b, Pitch/Roll offset compensation. This sets the Flight Director to level when the plane is level. The final adjustment is done in normal mode and can be adjusted +- 2.5°. The better you level the plane before you do this calibration the closer to zero the final adjustment. Garmin allows 2.5° final adjustment and that adjustment is done in normal mode. My final adjustment was -0.1°. Next I did the Magnetic Interference Test. Garmin allows a spike of 100% providing it settles down within the 10 second timeframe. The worst I had was turning on the landing, strobe and NAV lights at the same time. It spiked to 64%, but cam down to well within Garmin acceptance level. At the end of the test, the system recorded "passed". I plan to do the calibration after I have 10 hours or so because the engine has to be running and I still need to break in the rings. Once done, I played with the panel.
