Tim McKune from Byerly Aviation (Avionics Wiz) came to the hanger today to certify the plane for IFR flight to satisfy KPIA (Peoria Charlie Airspace) requirements. They verified the pitot/static system was leak free, verified the transponder was transmitting and receiving, verified the accuracy of my altitude reporting and finally, validated the airspeed. Additionally, even though the Mini X does not get certified, I noted it was in step with each altitude selected (mirrored the G3X) and the airspeed was a perfect match. Both systems use the same pitot/static system.
