I pulled the lower 6 spark plugs and turned the engine over by hand ten rotations to make sure all the preservation oil was gone. None came out. I cleaned and gapped (.016-.022) all 12 spark plugs and put a new gasket on each. I installed all the lower plugs and torqued them to 35 ft lbs. I left the plug wires off. The top plugs are cleaned, gapped and ready to install when I do my first engine start. I added a couple paint sticks to the baffles to hold the wires out of the way. Bill pointed out a gap between my oil cooler and its mount. I installed two pieces of 3/4" foam in that area to fill the gap. I also worked on my 3/4" plastic pipe gust lock. I have my 7th and final review tomorrow with Sam and Larry, (A&P) will also review the build. This will be the last review before first start and FAA review for air worthiness.
