Brief Description:  Fuel Calibrate

Right fuel tank calibration. Plane was leveled for "inflight". 2837 grams including the container was used for the one gallon capacity. Temp 51°F. The system was Calibrated for zero gal = 2.157V, 1 gal = 1.985V, 5 gal = 1.521V, 10 gal = 1.189V, 15 gal = 0.950V, 20 gal = 0.740V, 25 gal = 0.393V & 30 gal = 0.393V. The sensor topped out at 25 gallons. A 3/8" dowel rod marked at 1 1/8, 2 3/8, 3 1/2, 4 7/8, and 7 1/8 for the 30 gal. Fuel did not register on the dowel until 10 gal mark. Calibrated and saved the file, the red X was removed. Due to the cool temperature, I did not want the fuel to expand and seep out the vent line as the temp rose, so I removed 20 gallon. When done, the system indicated 10 gallon. I installed the lower wing root covers on both sides. The measure stick calculations averaged from side to side are...10 gal= 1 1/4", 15 gal= 2 1/2", 20 gal= 3 1/2", 25 gal = 4 3/4" and 30 gal = 7".
