First day of final assembly. Kris and I pinned on the wings and I replaced the 3/8" pins with close tolerance bolts. The 8 - 9/16 bolts were tightened to 80ft lbs and the 8 a 3/8 bolts were tightened to 15ft lbs. We also installed four leading edge/fuselage bolts and two trailing edge bolts that install with a cotter pin. All fasteners were torqued and torque sealed. Next I connected the ailerons and torqued the fasteners. The fuel tank sending wire was cut to fit and a terminal installed. I also put on a piece of shrinkable tubing, which I will heat tomorrow. The wing walk nylon filler block was put in place with pro-seal.
