Brief Description: Tail wiring and MiniX antenna work
Finished up the tail wiring by adding an extra heat shrink cover. The tail section gets wired after the VS is installed. I test fit the glair screen cover that was made by flight line interiors. Fit pretty good. I left it off, as I believe it will just get dusty. I did leave on the front push edge. Next I drilled a hole in the forward section of the overhead console and added a bushing. I want to mount the Mini X GPS antenna on the aft most aluminum plate on the overhead console. It will wok fine there, with only fiberglass above it. It was a challenge routing the wire down through the windscreen support tube. I did reference m old photos and saw that I opened an area on the glare screen for wires if needed...and that really helped. I appreciate the builder who suggested that. I also attached a wire tie to a glue on connector to take support the plate while the GPS is being worked on.
