Match drilled and fit the rubber gap seal on the underside of the horizontal stabilizer (HS). Kris and I sat the HS in place and I bolted it in using temporary hardware. The Vertical Stabilizer (VS) was installed next. I cleaned up the empennage fairing removing misc epoxy bumps and sat it in place. It fit better then I hoped. I drilled the forward three screw holes and the removed it so I could dress up the front shaping it the same on both sides. After sanding it a bit, I reinstalled and (starting in the front working rearward) drilled/clecoed the remaining fairing attach screw holes in VS/HS and fuselage. I ended the day by marking all the final shape lines. Next, I plan to remove the fairing and trim to the lines. The fairing also has to be marked where the elevator horns are, but the elevators need to be installed first.
