Back from vacation. I sanded the windscreen fairing base Bill and I laid up a week ago. I also removed the orange, second layer of protective tape on the windscreen and gently sanded the base level with the primary tape. Once sanded, I replaced the tape giving me two layers of protection again. I vacuumed and blew off the base with the air nozzle and applied a pretty thick layer of blackened epoxy/micro. I will let this cure a day and then final sand it.
