Brief Description:  Reiff preheat plug installed

Installing the preheat plug upper fastener was almost impossible. I decided to take this section of baffling apart and add nut-plates to make it easier to remove and secure the plug. While off I added a hole for the alternator blast tube and scuffed/primed/painted the unit. While the paint was drying, I safetied the band clamp heaters. I also used a syringe to apply a second coat of epoxy to my heaters and thermostat. This batch was used to add a radius to the edge and to cover any opening in the unit to prevent water or oil from entering. For the blast tube I used a one inch bushing and cotter pin to secure the tube to the bushing. I taped the end of the tube, which is secured with a tie wrap, and cut a hole in the tube side for air to flow out. This gave me better control of air flow without bending the tube a lot.
