Brief Description:  Testing for fuel leak

Still chasing a 1/2 lb psi leak in my fuel system so I pulled the boost pump and tested it alone. After about 30 seconds, very small bubbles developed on the suction side of the pump. I called airflow performance and talked with Kyle. He thought the o-ring may not have seated and gave me the ok to tighten the 1" nut ONE flat. After four hours, the pressure has not changed, so that may have fixed the leak. He noted that because it was on the suction side, it would not have leaked fuel out, but may have introduced a small amount of air into the system...and that is something they do not check at the factory. I plan to let it set overnight and if still OK tomorrow, reinstall it. I received my wire today so I also ran the aileron trim wires from P5 to the left wing root. The wing root socket connectors should be here Monday from Allied Electronics. I had time to make all the bushings for the seat belts... What a PITA. very small little bushings.... Good to have those done.
