I marked where the windscreen touches the fuselage and using paint stripper, removed both epoxy layers of paint. I drilled and installed the five fuselage/windscreen hold down clips. I roughed up the windscreen fuse mating surface with 220 and cleaned and taped it off to protect it during installation. Because the inside protective plastic was covered with dust from sanding the plexiglass, I removed it, cleaned and painted on a coat of DISCOAT 4220. I plan to paint on a total of four coat as recommended by ASC. I need one final fit up and location marking and then it will be ready to install.
