I removed the lower spark plugs and turned the engine over until #1 cylinder was on its compression stroke. I then removed the right magneto wire cap to access the timing pin hole. Carefully turning the engine until the timing hole at the 2 o'clock position on the starter flange lined up with the ring gear 25°BTDC mark. The pin dropped right in the "L" (left hand rotate) hole. I marked the housing with tape and a mark to better align when I reinstall it and removed the mag. Removed the mag making sue the pin does not fall out. Also make a sign DO NOT TURN PROP!!!.
