Brief Description:  Air Box Fuel Drain Tube

Had enough time today to place and fiberglass my air box drain tube. I inserted a large 470 rivet in the end to dam it up and ground the edge till it was even with the tube. I prepared a mold by putting two pieces of wood together and drilling between them and using the half the was deeply drilled. After covering it with packaging tape, I sprayed with mold release. Two inches of tube was scuffed at the end and placed 3/4" inside the inner ring of the K&N air filter. The tube was covered with 4 layers of 9 ounce BID and resin. On the 18th the mold was removed and the air box was sanded. I drilled/chamfered a #19 hole on the inside if the air box right into the fuel drain tube. I formed a 45° radius along the tube using resin and flox to strengthen the connection and let it cure overnight.
