In preparation to install the injection body, I pulled the upper 6 spark plugs and installed desiccant on each of the cylinders. The desiccant container used on cylinder #2 was missing a rubber gasket, so I used a copper smash washer until I receive a replacement rubber washer....which Aircraft Spruce is going to overnight to me. I the spent some time cleaning/organizing getting ready to install the fuel injection body. All the parts were gathered and organized. I plan to assemble without lock washers because it all has to be removed to drain the oil before final install. In the parts from Lycoming I received an extra oil base filter which I placed in a plastic zip bag and set aside.
