I removed the balloon and trimmed the depth of the fiberglass air inlet to be flush with the air box. After making sure the depth was correct, I then removed another 1/4". Once done, I removed the rest of the foam block and added another layer of fiberglass. I painted the air inlet with the reminder of the resin. While it was curing, I started to work on the rubber seal tHat attaches to the front of the air box.
