Started adding the rubber gap filling strips to the top of the baffles. Because I held the baffle-to-cowling gap to 3/8", I made the rubber gap filler 2" wide. It extends 5/8" over the baffle leaving 1 3/8" to bend and fill the gap. They are a little stiff, but once the engine runs a couple hours, they will mold just fine. I used a little talc powder in the corners so the mating surfaces would slide by each other. It is difficult to see what is happening on the inside, but when I open the oil filler access hole in the top, it will give me a complete view of the final fit.
