Brief Description:  Fairing landing work

Ordered a set of seat belts today from Hooker Harness. I went with the 2" commercial set for with the centered metal latch for the RV10 which is not an acrobatic approved aircraft, so typical professional belts will do just fine. I asked Bill to stop by for hints on my fairing work...and as always, he came through. He recommended that I shim the inside of wheel fairings on the lower front to eliminate the dimple caused by the securing screw. I measured the thickness needed and cut a shim to make up the difference. When deburred, I alumipreped and alodined it before attaching it with 2400 lbs psi JB Weld. Once it set, I reattached the wheel fairings and the tightened it down and found the dimples were eliminated.
