I cleaned up the main wheel transition pieces and I really like how they look and how easy it is to remove thEm with the wheel fairing. It is going to make maintenance much easier. I then started on the front wheel fairing. The first part (getting the two haves to fit nicely together) took longer then I wanted...but turned out as I wanted. After measuring, drilling and clecoing them together, I put it up-side-down so I could create a level mark in front which will be needed later. I then attached the fairing brackets and called it a day.
