Having the wheel fairings completed, I cut the leg fairings to length and placed a mark on them to help me identify where the center of the leg will be. It really helps that the fairings are translucent. The fairings hinges were then cut to length, slid inside the fairing and riveted on the aft side of the legs with AN326-3-5 rivets. Normally, the rivets would be a tad shorter, but because I was squeezing them in fiberglass they are a bit longer and not squeezed as aggressively as they would be in aluminum. Squeezing them to much would crack the fiberglass. All turned out great.
