Today I added the epoxy/flox mixture to the left outward 1/4" fairing support screw. I added tape to the front fairing at that location so the mixture would not stick. Instructions call for the mixture to be on both sides, but that would cause both sides to bond together...which would not be a good thing. Tomorrow I will take disassemble and smooth out any rough areas. After that, I installed the right wheel fairing with the epoxy/flox mixture. By using a magnet, I was able to easily coat the screws with wax used to hold the right fairing in position. Now it onlu needs cure time.
