Cut apart the epoxy I laid yesterday to support the horizontal cowling hinge keeper. Once apart, I removed the clean peel and added a little more cabosil in the areas to even it out. Tomorrow I will sand these areas and tape and spread mold release in preparation for the front lip. I also cut the hinge pins to length and rolled the ends for easier installation. While the epoxy was curing, I had time to install the Lycoming fuel pump heat shield. Once installed, I torqued and safety wired the fuel pump fasteners. When I do the baffling, I will run a blast tube to its location.
