I received the hinge pin covers and cover blanks from Geoff and allowing me to start on the side hinges. After measuring and cutting a starter hole, I located the center of the ipper cowling hinge and driller/clecoed the left and right horizontal cowling attach hinges. The hinges were then removed and the holes were set for a AN426-3 rivet. When done, I reassembled the unit and made the final fit of the hinge pin keepers. All was dismantled and the hinges were cleaned in alumiprep and soaked in alodine.
