Today I started to install the inlet ramps on the forward inlets of the upper cowling. These ramps get shaped to fit. The left inlet ramp fowls on the prop governor and major changes have to be made to avoid any interferance. My first task was to index the governor arm to the 10 o'clock position. After reading how many other builders completed this task, I settled on cutting out the interference and then adding in 2 layers of BID fiberglass to seal it back up. To do this I made a temporary mold and laid in the glass. Tomorrow, I will remove it from the mold and glass it in.
