This afternoon I cut a template for the blade pass through and transferred it to the spinner. Marking both sides, I cut it out...and sanded the opening until I had an 1/16" - 1/8" clearance at the blade hubs. That insures that the spinner is resting on the front plate which will eventually get nut plates. Tomorrow, I need to work the propeller through all of its angles to make sure I have plenty of clearance through the blades full range of motion. Then add the nut plates and backing plates.
