Brief Description:  Caster wheel upgrade

Had a little time today so I reviewed the caster wheel assembly. Following the recommendations of the RV10 builders group, I upgraded my front wheel to the MATCO WHLNW511.25 and the axle to WHLAXEL24 which is made of 6061-T6 AL alloy to avoid a number of caster wheel issues. As usual, it is never just a parts swap. To install the MATCO axle, I had to drill a 1/4" hole in the fork assemble aligned on the horizontal axis. This hole is for the bolt that will keep the axle from spinning. It is just a redundant safety. Bolt torque is what is designed to keep the axle from spinning. I used a #7 drill bit to align the hole on the horizontal and then my drill press to drill the 1/4" true and straight. Went together perfectly. This sub assembly will make things go quicker the day I put the fuselage up in its lower gear.
