Brief Description:  Door skin drilled

Using a hidden hole locator to locate the fuselage holes behind the door skins...and drilled the skins. The tool worked well. After temporally fastening the door skins to the fuselage, I taped the top of the doors to the fuselage as tight as I could and then match drilled the inner window holes, clecoing them as I drilled. These holes will hold the two halves together while being glued and will be trimmed off when the window is installed. When finished, I removed the doors and sanded the bag side of the inner skin where the strut doubler mounts. The doubler was also sanded with #80 sand paper to help with a fiberglass bond. I match drilled 8 alignment holes in the fiberglass and mixed resin, hardener with cab-o-sil and epoxied the doublers in place. I will give them 24 hours to cure.
