It had to happen sooner or later...I started working with fiberglass again. Today I worked on the cabin, trimming it for an initial fit-up. Seven hours later, I had it roughed in. By roughed in, I mean the doorway fit and it sat square in the door way....but it was still about 3/16 higher then it should be when I finish. It is critical that the aft cabin recessed lip sit on the aluminum side skin and not rest on the longeron. If the cabin is not lowered, the rear fuse skin wont fit properly. So, while I am happy with this initial fit, I have quite a bit of sanding left before it is as it should be.
