Brief Description: Elevator push tubes before paint
I assembled the two elevator push tubes today, as well as the three aileron push rods. Took me some time to figure out that Vans sources their bearing ends from two different suppliers. The instructions pointed to the part number from one bearing manufacturer while the parts them self were from another. I started by just putting the part number aside and just cataloging the bearings by physical characteristics. Then it came to me that there may be a cross reference on the web. Sure enough... Tomorrow, I will alumiprep and alodine the parts that have not been done yet... Then epoxy prime.
