Since I placed the floor insulation yesterday, this morning I installed the floor panels for the last time. The floor itself gets blind rivets, but the sides are bucked. Vans normally does a good job of calling out the rivets to use, but this time the missed a few. There are eight (4 to a side) AN470AD-6 rivets required when the F-1016 L floor pan is fastened to the F-1016 F seat belt attach bar. If the builder misses this and uses the AN470AD-4 they recommend, those joints will be improperly riveted. Like I said, normally Vans prints are spot on. After I riveted the floor in, I finished up the floor where the rear seats will attach. It is a little scary finishing that up because I will no longer have access to run wires, conduit or mount antennas...but I think I have all that planned well. I did have a little termite help me for a while today. She is a good worker...but can ask 1000 questions.
