Brief Description:  Aux battery, conduit runs and insulation install

I received my wire order from Vans yesterday so I took part of the morning to study their recommendation for running wires under the floor. I plan to use their brackets and wire routing for the main battery run. For the conduit and coax they don't reference in their documents, I plan to follow The FAA advisory circular AC 43.13. I ran my #2 Aux battery wire on the right side after filling the compartment with SX-1000 insulation. The conduit runs were supported with .060 angle, cushion clamps and AN hardware each time it passed through a lightening hole in a spar. I wrapped one rib lightening hole with caterpillar edging and secured the conduit that passed through with a nylon strap. Toward the end of the day I back riveted stiffeners to the cargo bay floor. I had a good discussion with my friend Larry regarding cargo support tie downs and decided to install a doubler and a nut plate in each of the corners so that I can install some type of tie down in the future.
