Brief Description: Forward insulation and floor pans install
This morning I got the forward sections insulated and the floor pan set on both sides. Because of the tight fit, I only used a drop of adhesive to secure Each piece of insulation. There is no way for this stuff to move around. The insulation I am using is Soundex and it is FAR 23:856a approved. After the pans were placed, I set the lower gear mounts and placed all the bolts. I will add the nuts and torque them tomorrow...it was quite a challenge getting all the bolts on place. There are four 1 11/16 spacers I had to make for the gear mounts. I plan To paint those before I install them. Tomorrow I will also blind rivet the floor pans.
