Started to rivet the mid section skin today and got about 90% of the left midsection complete. There are quite a few I can not reach, so I will give Larry a call to operate the rivet gun while I buck the backside. There are 5 rivets located by the left rear wing attach support where Vans calls for AN426AD3-4 rivets. I changed them to AN426AD3-4.5 because the rivet did not have the depth and head size it should have once it was bucked. Overall, Vans has done a great job of calling out the right fastener for the given thickness. Tomorrow, I will start the other side.
